Assistant Sports Coach (Gymnastics)
Job description
The role of the coaching assistant is to help children from ages 4-18 years in gymnastics classes. Assisting with supporting children with basic gymnastics skills to help make sure the classes run successfully.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Aiding children with gymnastics skills to ensure they are safe
Helping explain instructions to gymnasts Ensuring equipment is safe
Assisting with the set up and take down of equipment
Working as a team with other coaches to ensure classes run effectively Qualifications +
Skills:
Passion for working with children (Essential)
Good communicator (Essential)
Hard working (Essential)
Previous coaching experience (Desirable but not essential)
Experience working with children (Desirable but not essential)
Level 1 or 2 gymnastics coaching qualification (Desirable but not essential)
DBS check (Desirable but not essential as the club will sort this for you!)
Must be aged 16+ years
Hours: Hours are flexible, we run the following session times:
Tuesday 5pm-8pm
Wednesday 4pm-7:30pm
Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm
Friday 5pm-8:30pm
Saturday 9am-3pm
We require consistent commitment for your desired hours for at least each half term (6 weeks).
Pay scale: £9-£16 per hour dependant on age, experience and qualifications.
Ripon gymnastics academy is a structured, fun and progressive gymnastics club open to children of any level of ability. We are open communicators and work together as a team to make the club a success! We have the aim of providing high quality gymnastic classes to the Ripon/Boroughbridge area.

Salary: £9.00-£16.00 per hour
Gymnastics Coach (Level 1 Qualified or higher)
Job description
The role of the Women's Artistic Coach is to coach children from ages 4-18 years in gymnastics classes, and progressing our Women's Artistic Squad groups to help prepare them for competitions. Assisting another Level 2/3 coach with supporting children with a range of gymnastics skills levels from beginners to squads to help make sure the classes run successfully.
