Our philosophy

Gymnast welfare is such a fundamental part of gymnastics. The sport is there to help children build confidence and learn something new! At RGA we aim to be gymnast centered and work with gymnasts to help them achieve their goals. Our coaches are contactable via email, Facebook, phone or in person if parents or gymnasts have any concerns or questions to ask.

Safeguarding

RGA have a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all children and members in our club. We want all members to participate in gymnastics have a safe, fun, positive experience and are able to fulfil their potential.

Our coaches are enhanced DBS checked, and all qualified coaches complete regular safeguarding training and positive coaching courses as part of our qualifications.

Club Welfare Officer - Sarah Anderson

Hello, I’m Sarah, a club welfare officer for Ripon gymnastics. Both my daughters attend gymnastics and have done for many years which is why I was keen to support the club.

I hope that I can bring my skill set as a local Primary School Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead to the welfare role. I feel passionately that children can do what they love in a safe, supportive environment.

Please do contact us if you have any safeguarding queries or concerns
